Faith’s Sunday School Beliefs and Mission
- Faith believes that
- children should know about the redeeming grace of God, which is a gift to all at Baptism.
- children should be familiar with the Bible and inspiring Bible stories, and, at appropriate ages, should know the Lords Prayer, the Ten Commandments, the Apostle’s Creed, the names of the books of the Bible, and selected portions of the Scripture.
- children should have knowledge of the Sacraments of the Church
Therefore, we pledge, with God’s help and blessing, to provide an instructional program that will achieve the desired results. We further pledge to strive to be examples of the Godly life, and to serve as role models for the children with whom we undertake in this Sunday School Program.

Faith’s Sunday School Teachers

Adult Class
Sunday School is not just for children! All adults are invited to grab a cup of coffee and join in the fellowship of the adult Sunday forum. This group studies the Bible and current Christian topics. Although led by the pastor, there is always plenty of lively conversation from all participants. You do not need to be a biblical scholar to join, just come with a friendly personality and an open mind!
Confirmation Class
Our Christian Education program offers an excellent Confirmation ministry for all students. Through the use of M. Louie curriculum and instruction from the pastor and other adults, this program includes the following objectives:
- learn about the Christian faith through study of the Bible and Luther’s Small Catechism;
- discover the concept of vocation as it grows out of baptism;
- grow in personal and corporate faith development;
- make choices and decisions that reflect one’s faith;
- develop relationships with peers and adults involved in the confirmation program;
- become more involved in the faith community.
In addition to meeting during the Learning Hour on Sundays, confirmation class is held on Tuesday evenings from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m.
