We welcome you to consider one of the following ways to contribute to our Sunday worship.

• Usher
  • Hands out service bulletins, envelopes, assists with offering and generally assists the congregation during the worship services.

• Communion Assistant
  • Assists the Pastor in the distribution of the Holy Eucharist. Coordinates the dispensing and disposal of communion wine cups.

• Reader
  • Assists the Pastor in reading the Scriptures prior to the gospel reading.

• Altar Server
  • Assists the Pastor during the worship service by lighting candles and presenting the necessary implements to consecrate the bread and wine for the Holy Eucharist.
    (Normally children of fifth grade and up assist in this capacity.)

• Counter
  • Count the offerings taken at each worship service. Counting is done immediately after the service and the monies are deposited the same day. Normally two counters are needed for the 8:15 AM service and three for the 10:00 AM service weekly.

• Church Council
  • Group of twelve voting members representing the entire membership in matters of Church business. These are elected positions for various terms ranging from one to three years. Interested candidates should seek nomination prior to the annual meeting of the congregation in January.

• Sunday School
  • Classes are held every Sunday at 9:30 AM beginning in September and ending in May.
    
    There are three separate Sunday school classes:
    3 Year Olds - Kindergarten
    Grades 1 - 3
    Grades 4 -6
    
    There is also a class for confirmation students.
    
    Additional teachers and teacher assistants are always needed especially from October through December as they plan their Christmas Show.
